Since 1998 Corporate Watch's Food and Agriculture project has produced detailed and comprehensive research into the power of corporations exert over food supply, from the impact of GM crops to the roles played by agribusiness and supermarkets in eroding land, food and resource sovereignty, intensifying agriculture, and contributing to environmental degradation and social injustice.

More recently we have been analysing the corporate dominance in the organic food sector and the corporate-governmental embrace of agrofuels, their impact on food security, land sovereignty and their role in exacerbating climate change.
